Accounting Business Technology prepares students to master the fundamentals of Accounting for a Proprietorship, Partnership, and Corporation through the Accounting cycle. Students will learn basics in bookkeeping, how to analyze and record financial transactions, and how to prepare various financial reports at the end of the fiscal period. Master the accounting competencies in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll procedures, sales taxes, computer literacy, Excel, QuickBooks, and various common banking activities. Suitable for either a small business or an individual household, this course is sure to increase financial awareness and accountability.

Business Technology prepares students for an office technician career in today’s high tech business environment. Students learn the basics of keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, records management, electronic presentations and accounting practices. Students may be able to waive portions of the program, by demonstrating competencies obtained in other business programs.
Microsoft Applications Business Technology
Class and Lab Training:
Most jobs today require a working knowledge of certain computer skills. Microsoft Applications Business Technology course is designed to provide the fundamental software competencies you need to survive and prosper in today’s fast-changing workplace. You will learn how to implement the powers of modern office software to work faster and more efficiently. This course focuses on and prepares students to use the basics of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Students also learn Computer Literacy and Keyboarding.
