As a Lineman Apprentice you will be working within the electrical utility industry which consists of various utility, telephone, and cable television companies, and with private electrical contractors.

Your responsibilities will include pole climbing, building and maintaining powerlines, hotstick and rubberglove work on engerized lines, performing work on de-energized lines, installations, building and maintaining underground power systems, transformer changeouts and connections, fusing, and various other jobs performed in the trade.
